Privacy Policy

PicToon is an iPhone app published by Romain Sion. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: there is no account, no advertising SDK and no tracking, and your photos are used for one thing only — generating the image or video you asked for.

Photos you transform

When you pick a photo and a style, the photo is uploaded over an encrypted connection to the AI providers that generate your result. It is used to produce that result and is not published, sold, or shown to anyone else. PicToon does not keep a copy of your photos on its own servers.

Our providers may retain the image briefly for the technical operation and abuse prevention of their service, under their own terms. Generated results are stored locally on your device, inside the app's gallery, and are deleted when you delete them or uninstall the app.

Photo library and camera access

The app asks for camera access only if you choose to take a photo, and for permission to add images to your photo library when you save a result. It does not browse or index your library.

Purchases

Subscriptions and credit packs are processed by Apple. PicToon never sees your payment details. We use RevenueCat to know whether your subscription is active; it receives an anonymous, app-generated identifier and your purchase receipt, not your name or your Apple ID.

Configuration

The app uses Firebase Remote Config to adjust settings such as the number of free generations. It fetches configuration values and does not send your photos or personal data.

What we do not do

• No account, no email address, no password.
• No advertising, no ad SDK, no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because nothing is tracked across apps.
• No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.

Notifications

If you start a free trial, the app can schedule a local reminder 24 hours before it ends. That notification is created and delivered on your device; nothing is sent to a server.

Children

PicToon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Because the app holds no account and stores your results on your device, you can remove everything by deleting your images in the app or uninstalling it. For any question or request, write to [email protected].

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
